What to include in a support request
Enough context to help. No passwords or sensitive document contents.
THE IMPORTANT BIT
Explain what you expected, what happened instead, and what you already tried.
- 1
Describe the issue
Include the relevant workspace, document reference, and exact message. Explain whether the issue affects one document or a wider workflow.
- 2
Add the troubleshooting context
Include when it happened with the time zone, browser, and the checks already attempted. These details help avoid repeating the same questions.
- 3
Remove sensitive information
Redact screenshots before sharing. Never send passwords, tokens, full payment details, or unrelated client documents.
For a suspected security issue, email security@scannerpilot.com. Do not include passwords or tokens.
